Every 2nd Saturday we open our doors to the Seattle art community to debut our latest artist in residence for the month. January we are excited to open our doors to Seattle analog photographer Forrest Bourke.
At the opening itself, Forrest and Assembly are incredibly excited to present the opportunity to participate in a Polaroid 8x10 photo session. Each portrait will be shot on handmade Polaroid 8x10 film using our Calumet C1 8x10 camera system. This film is very rare, and as such we are offering a limited number of portraits available on a pay-what-you-can sliding scale, with $75 being the full retail price, a $25 tier which covers the material cost, and a limited number of free portraits available so that the opportunity is accessible to all. Participants will be able to learn about the camera and film technology, as well as watch their portrait develop before their eyes.
